Interesting facts about me

Not sure there is much interesting about me - nothing I would dare post here anyway LOL
I have always loved Scotland, particularly the highlands, and usually get up there a couple of times a year for short holidays. Liked the lilt of the kilt too but never had the guts to wear one myself until I retired, found an interest in Scottish Country Dancing and so had an 'excuse' to wear one. Just wish I had realised years ago that I did not need an 'excuse'!
I like to see the various styles of kilt there are around but my own interest is in the traditional, Scottish tartans
Looking forward to learning more on this site - and hopefully seeing more, too..
